Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Quick Dish ("the app"), made by Warmlight Labs, handles your information. Quick Dish is a recipe and meal-prep app.

Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name and email address, or the identifier provided by Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google if you use one of those options.

Recipe and meal-planning data. We store the recipes you save or import, your dietary preferences and allergen settings, your meal-prep plans and your shopping lists, so they sync across your devices.

Recipe search. When you search for a dish or for recipes that use your pantry ingredients, the dish name or ingredients you type, along with your dietary and allergen filters, are sent through our servers to our recipe data provider, spoonacular, to find matching recipes. We don't send your name, email address or account details to spoonacular. Search results are cached on our servers for a short time to keep the app fast.

On-device recipe creation. On compatible iPhones and iPads, Quick Dish can create recipes using Apple Intelligence, which runs entirely on your device. That text is not sent to Warmlight Labs or to any third-party AI service.

Purchase information. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never see your payment details.

How we use your information

We use your information only to operate the app: to sign you in, find the recipes you ask for, sync your saved recipes and lists across your devices, and apply your dietary and allergen preferences. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

Third parties

• Supabase stores your account and app data, with row-level security so only you can access your own data.
• spoonacular provides recipe search results, as described above.
• Apple and Google handle sign-in when you choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, under their own privacy policies.

We do not share your data with data brokers or advertisers. Quick Dish does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If that changes, we'll update this section.

Grocery links

When you tap a grocery store link (Target, Kroger, Meijer or Walmart), you leave the app for that retailer's website or app, which has its own privacy policy. We don't receive information about what you search for or buy there.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your saved recipes, preferences and lists at any time in the app. You can delete your account and all associated data from the Account screen. For help with a data request, contact support@warmlightlabs.com.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated data within 30 days, except where we're required to keep records for legal reasons.

Children's privacy

Quick Dish is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you in the app.
